8 Ethereum's Best Original Beginner's Guides

What is Ethereum? How can you use Ethereum in your daily life? How to use the Ethereum Decentralized Application (DApp)? These are the types of questions newbies might have.

Instead of trying to tell you what Ethereum is, we'll let other people do the hard work! Here are eight of the best Ethereum tutorials for beginners.

1.Cryptocurrency: Complete Bitcoin, Ethereum, Altcoins

The "Cryptocurrency: Complete Bitcoin, Ethereum, Altcoins" course at Udemy is designed for beginners. It is assumed that you know almost nothing about the world of cryptography and how it works.

Thus, this is not only an Ethereum tutorial; it also explains the differences between Ethereum and Bitcoin, as well as many altcoins. With no rudimentary knowledge of other important tokens, you will struggle to understand Ethereum's place in the broader crypto sector. The eight-hour video course consists of 74 separate lectures.

Since the course is for Udemy, you will have to pay a fee to access it. The full price is $ 200, but you can often find discounts of up to 95 percent.

2. TutorialsPoint Ethereum Tutorial

TutorialsPoint Ethereum Tutorial is designed to give inexperienced developers a complete overview of Ethereum smart contracts.

Since the course is primarily aimed at programmers, it assumes that you have a working knowledge of web development, JavaScript, Ajax-Requests, AngularJS, Gulp / Grunt, and Node Package Manager. By the time you complete the course, you will have an intermediate level of understanding.

You will find 18 sections in the course. It covers how to create Ethereum contracts, how to deploy them, how to add users to Ethereum contracts, how to use MyEtherWallet (MEW), and more. There are many screenshots to guide you through the various processes.

3.DApp University: How to Build Ethereum DApp

DApp University is a popular YouTube channel for anyone who wants to learn how to build decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain.

Truth be told, we recommend taking a look at all of their videos, but for beginners it's worth highlighting How to Build an Ethereum DApp (Decentralized Application Development Tutorial). It will take an hour and a half, so it's not fast. But it covers all the important things you need to know if you want your DApp to be ready for release.

4. What is Ethereum (ETH)? A crypto coin study

If you are new to crypto, you may not have a complete understanding of what Ethereum is. Of course, it's a cryptocurrency, but what else? What is Ethereum's price history? How does Ethereum work? What's in the Ethereum whitepaper?

We answered these questions in the study of Ethereum coin on Blocks Decoded. This is not a long reading, but it will give you a basic understanding of Vitalik Buterin's work.

5. What is Ethereum? A Platform to Decentralize the World

“What is Ethereum? A platform for decentralizing the world ”. It provides a basic overview of what Ethereum is, how Ethereum works, and why its development has such long-term potential.

The tutorial is divided into eight parts. They cover the entry-level information Ethereum newbies need to know, including smart contracts, DApps, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), some of the more interesting projects currently using Ethereum, and what Ethereum will be used for in the future.

The text course is free to download and read.

If you are new to Ethereum, we recommend that you read the extensive glossary, Introduction to Ethereum, FAQs, and the Usage: DAOs and DApps chapter. These are the best places to start.

8. What's New in Eth2

What's New in Eth2 is the official Ethereum newsletter. It covers the latest news and events in the Ethereum world and includes dozens of links to external Ethereum tutorials and learning resources.

The bulletin began its work in October 2018. It is published on average every two or three weeks, but sometimes there are longer breaks and more frequent updates.

All previous releases are available on the sidebar of the site, so if you are new to Ethereum, we recommend starting with the very first release and going through them in sequence.

Which textbook is the best?

It is difficult to finally choose the “best” Ethereum textbook. A lot depends on what you want to learn and the type of content you find easiest to digest.

However, one thing is certain. If you use all eight resources we've discussed in this part, you won't be a newbie!
