Binance will add 180 fiat currencies to its Fiat-to-Crypto service

Leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance plans to add 180 new fiat currencies to its Binance.com platform to expand its offer for direct fiat cryptocurrency exchange.

According to Mickey, Binance board member Changpeng Zhao announced that he plans to add all remaining fiat currencies to the platform during the exchange's "super meeting" in Singapore, where he said:

One of the key things I want to do over the next six to nine months or so is get the other 180 fiat currencies on board Binance.com.

The initiative, Zhao added, will help users gain access to "great liquidity" on the cryptocurrency exchange, which has begun offering fiat-to-crypto trading with Nigerian Naira trading pairs to be added in October.

Binance has since added new fiat gateways to its direct fiat-to-crypto trading offering as it partnered with Advcash to improve support for fiat currencies by adding the European Euro (EUR), Russian Ruble (RUB), Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH), and Kazakhstani Tenge. (tenge). The firm currently supports Fiat through five third-party companies besides Advcash: TrustToken, Paxos, Simplex, Koinal, and Flutterwave.

In Singapore, Zhao also noted that Binance is going to focus on improving customer service. He noted that before the advent of Binance, some users had to wait months for a response after submitting support tickets to other cryptocurrency exchanges.

While binance claims to be able to respond to support tickets within 24 hours, it expects to reduce that time to "one hour, now or less." Its goal is to make sure that "the maximum wait time is an hour, 24 hours". day, anywhere in the world."
