More Power Tool- what is it?

This program will help you fine-tune the overclocking and downvolting of your video card. MTP is actively developing and versions for Windows 11 are already available at the moment

The program changes the upper and lower limits of Wattman settings, locks input options or enables them.
However, the program does not replace Wattman itself or other overclocking programs, but expands their input options! The program must be run as administrator!

Attention: If you are using the tool for the first time or have not entered SoftPowerPlayTables manually before, all values will be greyed out because there are no entries in the registry yet! Then click once on the “Load SPPT” button and remember to enter these values later with “Write SPPT”!

For test purposes only a small increase in the target power or an increase in the memory clock speed limit should be used, as well as fan control!

At the moment MPT (MorePowerTool) is compatible with all Navi maps, while SPPT (SoftPowerPlayTables) stored in the registry extremely slow down or artificially restrict the work of the drivers. RBE (Red BIOS Editor) allows you to write all MPT modifications directly to the BIOS of the RX 5700, 5700 XT (X) and RX 5600 XT and output this BIOS as a flashable file. However, at present, only the only adapted version of the ATI Flash Tool allows writing at least the BIOS created in this way into the RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT (X), while there is no suitable software for the RX 5600 XT yet.

Instructions

  • First of all, you need to make a backup copy of the original BIOS of the video card. This is done in two clicks using the program AtiFlash (the instruction is also located at the link)
