Wirex's new Visa card offers cryptocurrency rewards to users

New Visa Card Issued payment platform Wirex rewards users with an 1,5% return in bitcoins for all purchases in the store, allowing users to receive cryptocurrencies for its use.

According to a press release provided by Crypto-Hunter, the company announced its new Visa Travelcard at the Singapore FinTech Festival. The card supports over 150 currencies and processes cryptocurrency exchanges for the indicated currency before making transactions on the visa network.

It is reportedly supported wherever Visa is accepted and allows free ATM withdrawals. Wirex is touting its "world's first" program to allow users to receive cashback in cryptocurrency. According to firms the first 2000s who activate the Wirex Travelcard will receive 20 Nano.

To attract users, Wirex removes the fees and charges for managing and exchanging traditional currencies for a limited period of time. The map will be available in the Asia-Pacific region. According to the company's CEO Pavel Matveyev, "he has witnessed an explosion in demand for hybrid alternative and crypto-banking alternatives at APAC, where people need rescheduled payments for the future."

Wirex is one of the few cryptocurrency-related companies in the world that has been granted an FCA e-money license in the UK. Earlier this year, he launched the WXT token on OK Jumpstart, OKEx's IEO platform.

The firm added that a “revolutionary selection of fiat-backed stablecoins” will be released soon. Wirex is one of the various fintech firms entering the crypto space. For example, Revolut added stop orders for trading earlier this year. BTC, ETH, BCH and others.
