Litecoin
Litecoin (from the English. lite - "light", eng. coin - "coin") - a fork of Bitcoin, a peer-to-peer electronic payment system that uses the cryptocurrency of the same name.
Litecoin is the second fork of Bitcoin after Namecoin and has only minor differences from it. Litecoin can be used to exchange for Bitcoin or common money in exchangers, as well as to electronically pay for goods or services from merchants who are ready to accept them.
To ensure the functioning and protection of the system, cryptographic methods are used.
SegWit support was activated in Litecoin software in May 2017
